We are Jorge Aranda and Verenisse Silva. The founders and owners of One Table. Private Events. We have been cooking for over 20 years. Our passion for cooking gave us the opportunity to meet and we haven’t stopped cooking together ever since. Our last big adventure in 2018 was in El Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico which brought out our passion for Farm to Table cooking. We really focused on bringing out the best in each ingredient we served to our clients. We focused on getting familiar with our region and getting to know our local farms and suppliers.
We fell in love with open fire cooking and took the time to master this craft. We now made the decision to focus our culinary career in San Diego and opened our own company One Table, where we focus on bringing our passion for open fire cooking to our client's backyard. We believe food should be enjoyed in an intimate setting which is why we strive to serve on one communal table whether it's 4 or 50 people.
We focus on creating an entire experience from custom menus, onsite cooking, and setting up our beautiful farm tables. We want our guests to experience the process and connect with their food. Our goal for each event is to help people see the simplicity in food; to see that an ingredient is best enjoyed with the least amount of manipulation.
